Agios Konstantinos is a traditional Cretan village in a closed distance to the city of Rethymno in the northern part of Crete.
You may use the area to mix with the locals, experience the Cretan way of life and travel around the island of Crete (by car) to discover beautiful sandy beaches, museums of 3,000 year of history and attractions.
It is around 10.5 km to the nearest beach, where you can find one of the best sandy beaches of the north coast, the long sandy beach of Episkopi. The sea in this area is regarded to be one of the cleanest and most beautiful on the north coast. Even in the high summer season, you can easily find a secluded spot on your own or a strip with sun beds and parasols, if that is what you prefer. There are several taverns and beach bars directly on the beach, which they all are very popular to the locals and becomes quite lively during the weekends.
